Ringo Starr ( Richard Starkey ) was born in 9 Madryn Street in the Welsh Street area of Dingle in Liverpool. He lived there until his parents divorced when he was 5 years old and his mother moved to 10 Admiral Grove nearby. Ringo still spent a lot of his time in Madryn Street with his grandfather who lived at 59, Madryn Street.
